Great soap, I wash my Chaparral 19 SSi after fresh and salt water. I use for cleaning inside and outside parts. It cleans the boat and it doesn't harm my arm and feet.

My boat was growing moss in my driveway as I work on a re-power, new fuel tanks, waste system, you get the idea... but I finally had to quit those tasks to deal with the moss and the ""Boat Soap"" product washed it away from the gel coat like it was nothing. This is not a cheap product, but it's a great one.

Q: Instructions on bottle say 1 cup per gallon. 4 cups (8 oz) in a 32 oz bottle. Surely, this can not be the guidance!?

A: The instructions say to add one cup of soap to a gallon of water. The 32 oz bottle makes four gallons of solution.

Q: Does this soap de-wax? If not, which cleaner to use which also removes wax?

A: It won't really dewax, you will want to use a dewaxer like Totalboat Dewaxer and Paint Prep if you are going to be painting.

Q: can it be used on wood boats?

A: I have used this product on many different surfaces from the outside of my aluminum boat outside paint to the wood painted floor in the garage and all around . I am a repeat buyer of this product it great!
