Product Details

Sikaflex 255 FC is a one part, high viscous, high strength, polyurethane adhesive, designed specifically to provide excellent adhesion to glass and painted metal. Perfect for direct glazing large windshields, side windows, sun roofs, etc.

The high Green Strength makes Sikaflex 255 FC equally great for elastic bonding applications such as sidewalls, floors and roofs.

Surface preparation is generally recommended and is required for direct glazing applications. Tack free in 30 minutes with 1000 psi tensile strength.

Suitable for a wide range of substrates including wood, primed metal, glass and composites.

Applications:

Bonding glass to metal or wood, bonding trim, molding, styling elements, structural bonding of large parts including sheet metal and composites. Replaces rivets and mechanical fasteners.

Don't buy Sika from Jamestown Distributors

Sikaflex is a good product, but Jamestown Distributors will ship you product that is only a couple of weeks away from expiring. Great for them, lousy for the customer. There are other distributors of Sika out there that are more worthy of your time and money.

Q: Hi, Can you please tell me if Sikaflex 255 FC is as strong as SIKAFLEX 11 FC? I know a Blacksmith who uses SIKAFLEX 11FC to rehandle broken hammers, but I can't find SIKAFLEX 11 FC. So I wanted to know is Sikaflex 255 FC just as strong or is it stronger? Thanks for your time. Best Regards, Johnny Ray

A: 255fc is elastomeric.....I don't think u can use it on that application
