Product Details

SI-Series (Starting Isolation) Automatic Charging Relays (or ACRs) are rated at 120 continuous amps for use with any size alternator. They allow temporary isolation of house loads from engine circuit during engine cranking to protect sensitive electronics. Relays activate from any charging source (alternators, battery chargers, or solar panels) and are ignition protected, making them safe for gasoline-engine applications.

SI-Series Relays automatically combine battery banks during charging and isolate under discharging. LED status indicators show users when batteries are combined, and blinks when low voltage levels are detected.

A: Blue Sea model SI-ACR 120A 12-24V part no. PN 7610 Is this the one you have? If so there is a wiring diagram on the package and on JD website search SI-ACR and you will find a similar wiring diagram. I run dual 12v bats on vehicle and dual 12v bats on house battery. Terminal A for vehicle and term B for house bats. The 3 small terminals on the charge relay, left one is gnd, center one goes to small bat wire on 2 prong plug at alternator. this wire is hot only when key is on. the right wire on the acr is for an indicator light which I don't use. There is a green or yellow light on top of the acr which will comes on after a minute or two when the engine is running. that tells you its working. Ive had this unit working for two winters now and have not had any problems. I have a wiring diagram of mine, and can send some pics if it will help.

Q: null I have dual Suzuki 4 stroke outboards each with 43 amp output alternators. I have 3 deep cycle marine AGM batteries ( 1 size 34 for starting and 2 house batteries of different sizes... 1 size 34 and the other size 31). Q: Will my 12 volt system need a 2 bank ACR for starter/house application OR 3 bank ACR because the house side has 2 different size batteries? ALSO: ?? 2 alternators for one ACR?? My existing set up had a Westmarine 150 combiner that worked for 10 years....? THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, looking forward to hear back from you! Henrik Petersen
