Q: wILL THESE FIT THE EXHAUST FLANGES ON A 1999 VALKERYIE?
10 years ago1 Answer
A: Don't know what a Valkyrie is, but these nuts are in standard thread patterns. If you determine the size of the flange bolts, you can order the corresponding acorn nut. If the bolts are too long you may need to use a regular hex nut first and then cap with cap nut.

Q: Where can I find 5/16, 26thread chrome or stainless acorn nuts for my bike axel?
11 years ago2 Answers
A: It is actually 5/16 - 26. Older bicycle axels are that thread. I don't how to convert metrics, but is it possible that there is a metric thread that matches, and do you have it so I can purchase from you? Thanks. David

Q: what does fine mean ?
11 years ago4 Answers
A: Threads on bolts/screws and nuts come in to types, course and fine. Bolts and nuts will list the (diameter or size) (by) (number of threads per inch of bolt). An example is #8 - 32. The size is #8 screw and the number of threads per inch is 32. This is fine threads. An #8 - 24 has course threads.

Q: Hello, I was recommended that according to my description, I am looking for these screws: https://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/search.do?freeText#/filter:g_fastener_type:Machine$2520Screws/filter:g_driver:Slotted/filter:g_metal:Stainless$2520Steel/filter:g_head:Flat$2520Head I will need the ones that is just above 1/2 inches so I believe that would be 5/8 of an inch -- I count in centimeters but I think that is correct. So which size of acorn nut do I need on this page that I was recommended? https://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=1885 And which size of washer, please? It's all going to wood and will be screwed by hand. Thank you so much!
