I am using the brass hex nuts in a jewelry design for a bracelet and necklace. The bracelet is made and I wear It all the time. I had checked other sites and your prices are great! Thank you so much for your prompt service, [...] and prices.

Q: what is the hex size ?
10 years ago1 Answer
A: Braqss hex nuts come in the same sizes as steel and stainless steel hex nuts. They are sized by the threads per inch and the size, __quote__number__quote__. The commonest sizes are 4-40, 6-32, 8-32, and 10-24 and 10-32. The larger sizes are sized by fractions of an inch, such as 3/16, 1/4, 5/8, and etc. As the sizes get larger, the number of threads per inch get smaller. The commonest number of threads per inch at 1/4 inch is either 20 or 24 xepending on whether the threads are __quote__national fine__quote__ or __quote__national course__quote__, for example.
