West System 209 Extra Slow (Tropical) hardener is formulated for use with WEST SYSTEM 105 Resin for general coating and bonding applications in extremely warm and or humid conditions, or when extended working time is desired at room temperature.
It provides approximately twice the working time of 206 Slow Hardener. 209 cures to a clear amber-colored solid with good physical properties and moisture resistance for bonding and coating applications. Not intended for clear coating.

ordered the resin only by mistake and after contacting some one at the office. I was able to order the correct hardener for my area, with the pump system. The produce worked great for what I was needing.

Building radio control model planes and need to ""fill in the gaps"" with this and micro balloons. Have not used. Just got it, as suggested by another modeler, to have available when the ""filling"" begins.

Allowed me plenty of time to get transom in and secured before it started gelling and curing. Transom is now bulletproof! And in 90+ degrees!
