Q: null Can this be applied over acrylic lacquer?

A: Hey Wes Thank you for reaching out. It would likely be okay, however, as they do not specify this in any of their material for the product, it would have to be tested first. I highly recommend reaching out to Seahawk directly for their thoughts. https://www.seahawkpaints.com/

A: The only colors available are Black, Aluminum Gray, and Green. I have used it to repaint my 16? aluminum Starcraft boat. I was pleased with the performance. My only prep was to pressure wash the hull and let it dry. I rolled and brushed it on. It dried fairly fast and the adhesion was very good. It had good coverage and hiding characteristics. I would use again.

Q: null I have an aluminum boat Starcraft thst leaks at the bottom seem will this paint work as a water proofing

1 Answer

A: No. this is paint, not seam filler. How bad is the leak? 3M 5200 maybe could be pressed into a leak with a stiff putty knife... I would try to clean out whatever may be in the leaky seam with a pressure wash first though. BK
