Groco Pipe-to-Hose Straight connectors are threaded with NPT (tapered) male pipe thread, and are for use with Groco Seacocks, Groco Raw Water Strainers or with any product with tapered female pipe thread.
The use of Groco Pipe-to-Hose Straight connectors on products with NPS (straight) pipe thread is recommended only for low pressure applications, and then only with a generous application of pipe sealant or PTFE thread tape.
All critical hose connections should be double clamped at both ends. Ideally, the hose clamp screws should be mounted opposite one another for maximum security. Use the highest quality AWAB hose clamps for longest life and best performance.Recommended Products

Q: null looking for 3 inch NPT to hose adaptor, and also 4 inch NPT to hose adaptors, and also Flanged to hose adaptors for both sizes ?.

A: Haven't seen anything that big on the shelf. You might try Hampton Rubber in Hampton Va. They sell a lot of naval stuff. They would probably have a fabricator that could make it for you.
