Groco Pipe-to-Hose Straight connectors are threaded with NPT (tapered) male pipe thread, and are for use with Groco Seacocks, Groco Raw Water Strainers or with any product with tapered female pipe thread.
The use of Groco Pipe-to-Hose Straight connectors on products with NPS (straight) pipe thread is recommended only for low pressure applications, and then only with a generous application of pipe sealant or PTFE thread tape.
All critical hose connections should be double clamped at both ends. Ideally, the hose clamp screws should be mounted opposite one another for maximum security. Use the highest quality AWAB hose clamps for longest life and best performance.Recommended Products

Q: null Good Morning , Would you be able to help me find silicon bronze 3/8"" NPT to 3/8"" hose bung and also silicon bronze 1/8"" NPT to 3/8"" hose bung ?

Q: null What is the diffrence between this standard flow hose barb and the full flow product They look similar and are described as similar I need 1 1/4 inch size

A: If you notice with the Full Flow fittings, the threaded size is always a smaller pipe thread than the hose barb size. This maintains a similar ID throughout the fitting. Standard Flow usually constricts on one end of the fitting or the other.

Q: null I need an adapter from a 1/2 inch straight thread to 1/2 tapered thread for a drop ear ell. Will this work or do you have another part to convert from NPSM to tapered - thank you ?
