Q: null Hi, I see there were a few questions with regards to bow making and I'm trying to experiment with laying up see through laminations for the same reason. How can I get rid of the transverse stitches or at least make them invisible when laying up?

A: Hi,I am well aware of the issue you are dealing with and do not really have an answer.  In my layup I use a layer of vail cloth and a layer of 5.6 oz ""S"" cloth cut on the bias on top of the unidirectional and it makes those lines less noticeable but does not eliminate them. Most of the  layups I make are colored and you do not see the lines in those.

A: I have used the unidirectional fiberglass from Jamestown Distributors and have been very happy with it. I do not know the type of fiber used. I would suggest that you call the store directly and ask them. The tech staff is very good.

Q: null HI, I am looking for fiberglass that when laid into 2-3 sheet layers it will have quite a bit of flex without breaking. I have done research and hope unidirectional fiberglass has these properties, but wanted to ask someone and make sure. The project will be similar to using fiberglass to make a bow (bows and arrows) . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
