Sierra gasoline fuel filter kits are designed to remove particulate matter and water from marine gasoline fuel systems. 21 micron filters are appropriate for most carburated style marine engines. For high performance fuel injected engines, finer 10 micron filters are more commonly recommended.
Each kit includes a canister style thread-on filter, mounting bracket and 2 brass plugs. The bonus kits include a spare filter. These Fuel Water Separators are engineered for outstanding filtration efficiency without creating a restriction in fuel flow. This system also works with two-cycle mixed fuel.
Mounting brackets are offered with either 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch diameter fuel line ports to accommodate various fuel flow demands. All brackets offer 4 connection ports for installation options and plugs to seal up the 2 ports not in use.
