No issues, works well

This pump works well. It was easy to setup. Auto and manual modes both work well. The flow seems a little slow, but the 600 pumping capacity is a little lower than I usually use. Overall very happy with this bilge pump.

Q: null What are the pumps dimensions? 1000gpm I have shallow bilges

A: I hope this helps. Bruce [BMc] I can't say about the dimensions. But, the pump is not what I expected. I am using it for a shower sump and not happy with its performance. It could be due the application; but, it often does not start (thus, overflow into the main bilge and is very slow to shutdown. I will be moving to a ""Gulper"" and a good ole float switch rather than the internal sensing this pump offers. Again, the pump may be fine for another application; but, it seems soap, shampoo and of course conditioner does not agree with the sensor.

Q: null At what level does the water get before this pump turns on--2 inches? Also, is the pump strong enough to pump the water up 6--7 feet?

1 Answer

A: I would say closer to 3 inches. I would probably get a bigger pump if I wanted to raise the water that high.
