Never Cured

I applied this product as directed to a sander raw aluminum hull at the site of a small hole. Also applied in seams around transom. Unfortunately, as noted by another customer, the sealer never hardened, remains wet and sticky after 10 hours from application, in 80-95 degree, low humidity conditions. Most other reviews of the product are highly positive, so I'm confused. I'm guessing that the mixing nozzle did not properly allocate the 1:1 ratio of hardener to sealer, but I really don't know why the sealer failed to mature. I've contacted technical support to determine the appropriate solvent to use to remove the sealer and start over with a different product...

Application is a real workout.

The mixing nozzle may be a great idea but it makes using the caulk gun a real hand workout. It appears to have worked well on the bottom of the boat but it has yet to be put in water. My only issue was with the application and it was challenging. Very challenging. Time will tell if I would recommend this product.

I would not purchase again

Used the product as directed. Put 6"" bead on a board before applying. Could barely squeeze the product out of the tube with the caulking gun. Applied to my aluminum hull where needed. After two days it still had not set up and smeared easily with a finger. Removed with lacquer thinner. I ran another 5-6"" on a board then reapplied to Hull. Exact same result. Removed again and applied a different product that actually worked as advertised. Definitely would not waste my time or money again.

I used this Epoxy to seal up 4 leaking rivets. I used as instructed and cleaned aluminium with etch wash. Was able to apply epoxy with boat on the trailer. I have used the boat 11 times in 3 weeks and no leaking so far so I am happy so far with the results.

Followed all instructions and it work perfect. I now have a great canoe that is very dry. I would recommend this product to anyone! Do remember to warm the the tube prior to use like it recommends, saves the hand when pumping the caulking gun.
