Got the color I wanted

I really liked the way the blue-green powder colored the deep pour epoxy I was using. About 1/4 of the little bag gave beautiful dazzling color to a little more than 1 quart of epoxy. I have tried colored pastes before and was not happy with them because the color they created was dull looking and did not completely dissolve in the epoxy. The mica powder was easy to use and the color was great.

Stunning colors

It was difficult to select the colors I wanted to use from this assortment of Black Diamond pigments. I will just have to continue to do more projects to try the other colors. The amount of color in each packet was perfect for my project (wood & epoxy charcuterie boards): there is more than enough in each packet to complete a board, very little pigment is required. Also, it was magic to layer the colors in varying transparencies to create depth. The red sparkle pigment layered over the merlot color created my favorite effect.

Works well to color ""Clear Epoxy""

I did a pour/fill using clear epoxy and wanted it to become blue. I played with the powder till I got the color I wanted. I wonder if the liquid dropper style would be easier to work with.

I used the mica powdercepoxy pigments on a Christmas project I am working on. I made a wooden advent calender in the shape of a large book and carved the front of this wooden book with a Christmas tree and greeting. I used the mica powder with the epoxy to fill the carving and the colors are beautiful. Product was easy to work with and the colors are bright and beautiful and made this Christmas project even better.
