Happy buyer

I bought the fabric from Jamestown for the first time. It was nice receiving it on a roll, as my orders elsewhere always came folded. Jamestown Dist. has been a favorite place to by from and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase my fiberglass also from them now. I really like the ""no problems-no surprises"" experience every time I order from them.

First time user of fiberglass
I purchased this cloth to repair a 36"" crack in a 1998 fiberglass boats keel. The crack existed one foot before the transom and extended forward along the keel. I also used 4"" biaxial glass tape in the repair area. Cut the entire damaged area out and tapered the edges of existing good hull for the 12to1 ratio that everyone talks about when repairing fiberglass. I used West System Epoxy for the repairs, very happy with their product as well. This cloth is very thirsty and will take a lot of epoxy or resin to wet out. However some testing showed that this cloth wetout and cured with the Epoxy was very strong, and yet somewhat flexible as well. To end this the boat has been put in the water and the results are great! The only leak that could be found was a hose to a livewell. I also Prayed each and evey time I began working on the boat. I know I had help. If I ever build my own boat this fabric will be part of the buildup. Very happy with purchase! take care Bill
