Bronze Seacocks by Buck Algonquin are built with a Bronze body. The sea cocks have a hard chromed bronze ball, teflon rings, U.L. labeled, vinyl coated stainless steel handle that rotates 1/4 turn "On" and 1/4 turn "Off". Triangular base.

I bought the 1-1/2"" seacock for an overboard discharge. The quality seems good and the ball valve operates smoothly. It's super heavy

on my sailboat after 3 years in sea of cortes .5 seacock buck algonquin are frozen and 2 apollo are ok.

Rugged bronze construction

Buck Algonquin seacocks are well made hardware. I only use seacocks for below waterline thru hulls. Ordinary ball valves are a poor substitute and will not properly engage the straight threads of a typical thru hull. I don't believe in trying to cheap out this type of install.
