The Racor Diesel Shut-Off Drain Valve Kit is marine listed and USCG accepted. All brass construction. Features 1/4 inch NPT-Male to bowl or adapter with a 1/4 inch NPT-Female bottom port for use with provided 1/4 inch NPT-Male plug (plug must be in valve unless servicing). This valve kit is suitable for all diesel applications.

Q: What are the torque specs for this valve, do you use both the 'o' ring and fiber gasket, do you use pipe dope on the threads or Teflon tape?

A: We don't have torque specs for this. Use a fuel rated pipe dope, not teflon tape on the threads.
