Ancor Stainless Steel Cushion Clamps are ideal for securing heavy wire bundles, cables, hose, pipe and tubing runs. 304 Stainless steel construction for maximum corrosion resistance.

This is a wonderful product. It is well constructed and is ideal for mounting windshields to UTV roll cages. I can think of 1000 uses for these clamps.

A high performance piece

Tie wraps and plastic clips and clamps work- but SS rubber lined clamps work better. High performance cars and boats use these clamps to anchor fuel lines, oil hoses, electric bundles etc. They give a professional look but more important they give professional results. Clamp it and forget it.

Q: Is the cushion material in the stainless steel cushion clamps UV resistant? If not, what would you recommend to secure a wire bundle on top of a sailboat mast?

1 Answer

A: UV will deteriorate the gasket but it will take quite a while. Treating it with something like You could use split wire loom (https://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=4346) to protect the wires.

Q: does the 3quote mean it will go around three in. of of bundled hoses?

A: That's a good question - if you mean the circumference (measurement around the outside of the bundled hoses) then I would think that is what they mean. I would doubt that it means a measurement across the center of that bundle (diameter) which at 3 inches would mean a much longer circumference and quite a large clamp.

Q: what is the mounting hole size?

A: The bottom strap is odd long for adjustment and the top hole is just under 1/4quote . It'll take a # 8-#12 screw.
