Good thing i had free shipping! This bolt is already expensive but without free shipping this one bolt would have been extremely expensive! Looks to be good quality though.

Q: null Are these cut threads, where the threads are the same dimension as the shaft?

A: I don't have access to the bolts now, however as I remember them yes they were machine cut with same diameter as the shank. Dod

Q: null What is the size of the square section at the bolt head (below the top) for a 3/8quote dia. bolt?

A: I never measured mine. They were going into wood so it wasn't critical. However, if if it is critical to your application to know, they appear to be the same size as a standard steel 3/8 inch carriage bolt. You can go to any hardware store and measure one.
