Q: Willis work on aluminum hull
a year ago1 Answer
A: No AF33 contains cuprous oxide/copper and should be used on an aluminum hull as it will pit the aluminum. Use a copper free paint like Totalboat Krypton or Pettit ECO HRT copper free.

Q: What kind of bottom paint is recommended for a trailered aluminum skiff? How bout if I put it on a dock in salt water?
3 years ago1 Answer
A: You need to use a copper-free bottom paint, copper and aluminum are dissimilar metals do not use a copper-based paint. TotalBoat Krypton would be an excellent choice. https://www.jamestowndistributors.com/product/product-detail/97700
