Product Details
Sea Hawk Sharkskin is a traditional 45.2% copper-based hard-modified epoxy paint. It aggressively combats all types of marine fouling including barnacles, sea grass, green weed and other fouling organisms in fresh and saltwater.
Sharkskin can be applied over most antifouling coatings as long as that paint is still in good condition with good adhesion.

Q: null Can you overcoat a hard bottom paint with an ablative bottom paint.

A: Generally, that is true but there are exceptions. At the bottom of the product description page, click on the tech sheet link and you should find a link to a paint compatibility chart put out by the paint manufacturer. That will show you which paints are compatible and how much prep is required.
